Als Quelle und zur Inspiration dienten mir Rezepte aus Marokko und Sizilien, wo die klassische Version mit blanchierten Mandeln TORTE DI MANDORLE E OLIO D\u2019OLIVA hei\u00dft. Die Links dazu finden Sie am Ende dieses Rezepts.<br><br>Dieser Kuchen hat drei Riesenvorteile: Er ist sehr schnell zubereitet (am l\u00e4ngsten dauert nur das Abwiegen der Zutaten). Er ist das Gegenteil von trocken! Und er bleibt tagelang frisch. Daf\u00fcr sorgen 350 ml Oliven\u00f6l in einer Mischung aus Extra Vergine und nativem Minz- und Orangen\u00f6l. Hierf\u00fcr werden reife Oliven wilder Olivenb\u00e4ume aus den fruchtbaren Gebirgsregionen im Nordosten Tunesiens von Hand geerntet, sorgsam verlesen und innerhalb weniger Stunden gemeinsam mit frischen, unbehandelten Orangen gepresst. Diese Orangensorte w\u00e4chst in der tunesischen Region Cap Bon und hat einen besonders fruchtig-frischen Geschmack. Hinzu kommt der frisch gepresste Saft von Orangen und Orangenlik\u00f6r. Alternativ kann man ihn auch mit etwas Orangensirup betr\u00e4ufeln.
