Vor allem bei der Frage \u00bb<em>wer war eigentlich \u201eDon Pedro\u201c<\/em>\u00ab, also jener Mann, nach dem das ber\u00fchmte Dessert mit Whisky und Eiscreme benannt wurde?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Geschichte dieses Desserts ist eine von jenen kulinarischen Fabeln, die \u00fcber Generationen weitergegeben werden und die immer wieder in neuen Variationen auftauchen. Die weitverbreitete geht so: Die \u201eCopa Don Pedro\u201c begann ihren Siegeszug in Buenos Aires, wohl um 1930, in dem damals ber\u00fchmten Restaurant \u201eLo Prete\u201c und wurde einem dort arbeitenden Kellner, Pedro Ferrari, zum Dank gewidmet.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Kreation ist in ihrer Schlichtheit kaum zu \u00fcbertreffen: ein breites, niedriges Glas mit einem 2cl Whisky; obenauf eine Kugel Eis und als Kr\u00f6nung einige N\u00fcsse dar\u00fcber. Ya est\u00e1. Auch in S\u00fcdafrika erfreut man sich an DOM PEDRO. Ebenso legendenumrankt unterscheidet sich das Dessert nicht nur am Buchstaben M, sondern auch an der Spirituose. Sobald er fl\u00fcssig wird , die Walln\u00fcsse hinzugeben und warten, bis der gesamte Zucker karamellisiert. Die Pfanne von der Herdplatte nehmen und die N\u00fcsse mit einem Holzl\u00f6ffel wenden, bis sie von allen Seiten gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig Karamell haben. Ein St\u00fcck Butter in die noch hei\u00dfe Pfanne geben und die N\u00fcsse in der geschmolzenen Butter wenden. Darauf nochmals pro Glas 2cl Whisky gie\u00dfen.  Die abgek\u00fchlten Waln\u00fcsse mit der Hand leicht zerbr\u00f6seln und \u00fcber der Cr\u00e9me verteilen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\"
